Three Tustin Unified School board incumbents re-elected

Tammie Bullard: 15,938, 24 percent

James Laird: 15,361, 23 percent

Francine Scinto: 15,217, 23 percent

Matthew Singer: 7,875, 12 percent

Elias Teferi: 4,425, 7 percent

Karen Twaddell: 7,638, 12 percent

All will remain the same on the Tustin Unified School Board after Tuesday’s election, as three incumbents kept their seats by wide margins.

Six candidates competed for three seats in the at-large election.

Tammie Bullard, a business owner, took the most votes, winning 24 percent of the total. James Laird, an assistant district attorney for the county, virtually tied with asset manager Francine Scinto at 23 percent.

“I am humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to continue working with the amazing Tustin Unifed leadership team,” Bullard said.
